About

The Consumer Energy Education Foundation (CEEF) is a designated charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Our objective is to provide outreach and educational support materials, events, activities, resources, and information about career opportunities in STEM and energy fields and the importance of energy, conservation, and efficiency in our daily lives.

Mission

The mission of the Consumer Energy Education Foundation is to engage in charitable and educational activities designed to do the following:

  • support academic programs and initiatives that help educators and counselors motivate students to follow a STEM path
  • improve consumer, educator, and student understanding of career opportunities in STEM and the energy industry
  • improve consumer, educator, and student understanding of the importance of energy, conservation, and efficiency in our daily lives
  • broaden public understanding of workforce and career development opportunities

Goals

  • Provide information and resources on STEM and energy careers and the importance of energy, conservation, and efficiency
  • Serve as facilitator and organizer at outreach events to promote the following:
    • Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education
    • Workforce and Career Development
    • The Energy Day Academic Program
    • Thoughtful development and utilization of energy resources
  • Help organize and/or provide facilitation for local education events, workshops, and exhibits
